Hi Reader
This is just a quick update,
It’s a bank holiday here in the UK and a very hot and sunny one, so I’ve taken a moment to cool down out of the sun as I’ve been pottering in my garden.
One of my favourite things to do, is to sit in my swing seat and watch the wildlife in my garden. My swing seat is one of the best things I have ever bought myself and it’s even more magical to watch the stars and bats come out at night.
Early last evening I’ve found a shady spot and just laid out on the lawn and watched the sky and listened. Being on the ground, brought me even closer to nature - next to a patch of daisies, watching them move with the breeze, feeling the coolness of the grass and tuning into all my senses, it felt a sacred moment. I deep sense of awe and gratitude came over me - the wonder of nature thriving in my garden and to my body, for all the tasks and movements I’d been asking of it.
This sacredness is shared in Kaitlin Curtis’ poem “Body” which I read in class last week, I hope you enjoy it again or for the first time, I’m linking it here for you.
I hope you get a moment to feel like that today and everyday, our focus can be so in our heads and on the news, or being unhappy with our bodies, we can forget how incredible we are and that nature is their for us to connect, pause and nurture.
Thank you for being here and reading this, below details for what’s coming up, and just to say there are now just a few spaces left for the retreat day at Aubourn Hall on the 13th June, a day where you truly can connect to the awe and wonder of you and nature in a beautiful setting.
From my heart, soul & soma to yours,
Liz 🧡🙏🏻

Reconnection Retreat 2027
Following two successful retreats in 2025 & 2026 I am returning to the amazing Noka, Curlew and Avocet lodges in January 2027. These are the perfect venues that offer stunning accommodation and facilities in the lovely town of Woodhall Spa just 15 miles south east of Lincoln but a world away from your life.
The intention for my retreats is to create a supportive space for women to find time to nourish, nurture, heal, express, rest and reconnect. I am always humbled, grateful and in awe of everyone who joins me for embracing both the weekend and more importantly, themselves and each other.
